The Tramex FBZK5.1 Feedback Datalogger EZ Kit logs ambient and in-situ relative humidity, temperature, dew point and humidity ratio, and includes five reusable Hygro-i2 probes for testing RH in concrete to ASTM F2170. It suits flooring installers and inspectors who need a complete in-situ test kit for small to medium floors.
Kit contents
Per the Tramex FBZK5.1 kit data sheet (April 2025):
Tramex Meters app for Android and iOS (phone not included)
How it works
The DL-RHTX and the Tramex Meters app log up to 100,000 data point entries for relative humidity, temperature, dew point and grains per pound, sent over Bluetooth BLE to your mobile device. In the app you can view live readings, thermal conditions and psychrometric charts, and create and export spreadsheets, charts and reports. The Hygro-i2 probes sit in lined holes in the slab and equilibrate together; the logger and interface cable read each one in turn.
The kit requires the Tramex Meters app and a compatible iOS or Android device.

Both include the DL-RHTX datalogger, the interface cable, and tripod and wall mounting. The EZ Kit can run a compliant ASTM F2170 test out of the box on a small floor; the Starter Kit is a single-point logging setup you add probes to.
For a floor up to about 300 m², yes – five probes covers the three locations required for the first 100 m² plus two more. Larger floors need additional probes and hole liners, one liner per test hole.
Why five probes rather than one?
Because all test locations must equilibrate at the same time. Moving a single probe between holes over several days does not produce a compliant test and stretches out the programme.
Is the app free?
Yes. The Tramex Meters app is a free download for iOS and Android and runs on your own device.
Testing a larger floor? Contact The Moisture Meter Company and we will work out how many probes and liners you need.
