Some measurement jobs sit beside moisture testing rather than inside it. This collection groups instruments that answer different questions: is this surface clean, and how cold is this surface relative to the air.
It includes Hygiena's ATP hygiene monitoring system: the EnSURE Touch and SystemSURE Plus luminometers, UltraSnap and SuperSnap surface ATP tests, AquaSnap Total for rinse water, and PRO-Clean protein residue tests. It also includes the Tramex IRT2 infrared surface thermometer.
Which instrument for which question
Was it cleaned properly? ATP testing gives a numerical cleanliness result in seconds. It is used in food production, healthcare, and remediation work where clearance needs evidence. See ATP testing.
Is there residue without a meter? PRO-Clean protein tests give a colour-change result with no instrument. They are useful as a low-cost check between ATP tests.
Will this surface condense? An infrared thermometer reads surface temperature without contact. Compared with the dew point from a thermo-hygrometer, it shows whether a wall or slab is at risk of condensation.
These instruments solve very different problems. An infrared thermometer helps check surface temperature; it doesn't tell you whether there's moisture inside a wall. An ATP system gives a rapid indication of residual biological material after cleaning, but it isn't a test that identifies which microorganisms are present. The question is what evidence you need at the end of the job.
